Founding Engineer
EngineeringJoin as one of our first engineers. You'll own major parts of the product—from the TypeScript/React frontend to our Node.js backend and Electron shell. We're small, so you'll ship features end-to-end and talk directly to users.
Requirements:
- •3+ years building production web applications
- •Strong TypeScript and React experience
- •Comfortable working across the stack
- •Previous startup or small team experience a plus
AI Engineer
EngineeringBuild the AI layer that makes Solo IDE intelligent. You'll work on prompt engineering, multi-model orchestration, context management, and making LLMs actually useful for real development workflows. Less research, more shipping.
Requirements:
- •2+ years working with LLMs in production
- •Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar APIs
- •Strong Python or TypeScript
- •Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG patterns
Product Designer
DesignDesign the UX for a new category of developer tools. You'll work on everything from high-level product thinking to pixel-perfect UI. We care deeply about craft and making complex AI interactions feel simple.
Requirements:
- •3+ years product design experience
- •Strong Figma skills and design systems thinking
- •Experience designing developer tools or technical products
- •Ability to ship—we value execution over process
